Baltimore, MD super bantamweight Glenn Dezurn Jr. battled Adam Lopez of San Antonio, Texas to a eight-round split decision draw at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK. Two judges scored the contest one round each at 77-75 and the third judge had it 76-76.
It was a war of body shots through all eight rounds of this action filled bout. Dezurn started the bout with a slight edge in punches landed, but it was Lopez who came back strong in the middle rounds to jump ahead. Dezurn dug deep in the seventh and eighth round to battle his way out of a loss.
Dezurn remains undefeated by picking up a draw with a record of (9-0-1, 6 KO's) and Lopez gets the second draw of his career with a record of (16-1-2, 8 KO's).
