Dionte Burts Remains Undefeated With Win In Delaware!

Last night at the Hockessin PAL Center in Hockessin, DE, Washington, DC lightweight Dionte Burts won a four-round unanimous decision over the debuting Davis Veras Pena of Odenton, MD. 

The report from ringside is that Pena wrestled Burts to the canvas in the opening round, but Burts came back later in the same round to put Pena down for a eight count. Much of the four-round bout was full of holding and the referee had to warn the fighters a number of times. Burts won the contest with the scores of 38-36, 39-36 and 38-37. 

Burts is now (4-0, 2 KO's) and Pena starts his career 0-1.
