"The Real Deal" Phil Jackson Benson Gets 14th KO As Promised!

Phil Jackson Benson came into this fight with a purpose. The purpose wasn't just to improve his record for himself, but as a reason to fight for someone else.
Many fighters don't know how to use what's going on outside the ring and transforming it into motivation inside the ring.

Jackson was in a eight round light heavyweight contest with Michael Gbenga of Accra, Ghana.
The bout was located at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS. Jackson did what he normally would do in fights.
He landed hard body shots that opened up the opportunity to land many right hooks. After receiving the hard body shots from Jackson, one landed a little low to send Michael Gbenga to the canvas. Referee Keith Hughes gave Gbenga the time he needed to gather himself. Gbenga claims he was unable to continue. The bout was given to Jackson as a TKO victory at 34 seconds in round 7.

Benson improves to (15-1, 14 KO's) and Gbenga falls to (20-17 20 KO's).
